Naritive Monday

We have had a great time in Thailand. As we get ready to leave I will give some thoughts to the passage. I think although the group was small, I think we put as much money into the economy as any of the trips and surely as much as the Thai group that I went with. Chiangmai has declared to day Arena day and even if they have never met them, they are celebrating their time in Thailand. Health care has been restored, more schools have opened and their is a housing boom for the street vendors. As I walked the Sunday market last night, had my quail eggs, oj and foot massage...some things have not changed. This was the flower show weekend so you know it was hectic. But there was also some entertainment. The costumes were quaint.. they reminded me of ostrich with long pipe cleaners on their hats and some kind of a metallic thing around the breast area. One girl kicked and lost a shoe... and all of the tunes were alike. Everyone is so comfortable that we split up to shop. Poor Page has a very infected eye. We went to the pharmacist, but it is not better when we are in Vietnam we will skip the hike or she will not hike. Send some very strong healing words toward her... It is 8am... time for our breakfast. I called a few folks on the free phone.. only the ones I could find or remember. Angel is going to open a new shop and gave me a little break since I brought him so much good luck.. so Juta and Kim have elephants. I have lots of bites on my legs but they are more of a bother to others and don't bother me. There are a few folks sleeping on the street.. a few dogs sleeping wherever they want.. but I feel very comfortable here and would go or stay anyplace. I am going to really work at coming back for several months and working at the camp for a few weeks. That will be expensive but do able. This is the last day for us as a group and Cheryl will make a dent in the group. I think Joe has her list for Cambodia, so they will also be Arenaized. Other than Page, we are all well and even she is a trouper. As I sat under the sky last night getting my massage, I thought how lucky I am to be here and well and happy. It has made my new direction at home very clear... why run on glass when no one wants you to.. It has been liberating. love to all..b

Eleventh Day

Wow, it is easy to slip into a similar pattern to what I had at home. I produced a plan to change many things - delete more emails, eat hea...
