I am a little surprised at the cost of food. Not wally's...that is the same, but the food at the lodge is very high. I am now at the lodge at my
camp ground and it is 4 here 7 there. I am sipping a good
java - bought a 6 pack (no joe...the chang did not fit in the car and I would have had to take it out at the reserves....) and some tide..so I am ready. I can charge my acer here. Breakfast has been different. The Flying J's are inconsistent and actually, while this coffee is hot and dark, it is not as good as Jim's. I am thinking that travelling alone is very good. People at breakfast that are travelling appear to be complaining. The locals just smile or snicker. I have had the opportunity to eat at two fun places. Today coming across the mountains, I watched the price of gas go from 2.60 to 3.00. I also listened to a fellow in the next boo
th talk about all the oil they can find offshore drilling. A fellow wally camper last night said he was getting 4 miles to the gal...I am getting about 26-27. When I came through the mts this morning I found this mom and pop...truely...a young couple cooking about 40 miles from anywhere. The eggs were not done, but the home fries were large chunks....and god was in the heaven.
