Three day plan
While my theory is where there is a Super Wally, there is WiFi, my experience has not proved so. So here is a little of what my plans are...I will leave in about a half hr and stop at a mom and pop and get some eggs. The sun is up and it is now almost 7 here... Usually I am 150 miles down the road, but the rush to get here is over...sorta. I am in Pueblo and must get up and over the Mtns. I will stop on the way but my first NPark will be Mesa Verde and then back track to Aztec. I will bunk in with Wally for the next two nights at Farmington and Page and have a campground at the North Rim for Sat. They asked about my tent...so I said small....very small or is it a medium size wagon. As you can see by my morning pic... I thought I would meditate at the bank wall of the nice shower. As always, GP has good idea and I will be off to Wally's tonight and get some whips to use when I can't get my shirt off to scrub up. In reality..is just there that can't be washed. It is not like I am turning into a non camper and need hot water..but it is good you are not with me. So I am ready to open my senses to the leaves, the snow, the beauty and the history. Interestingly, the path through PA took me by the Kinzua Dam...many memories of the water rushing over the sacred burial ground... The only pain on the trip has been the emails from home. I feel very badly that I am not there to support Joyce.... and hope that Suzanne will help her. On to the here and now..b
