Knots

Joe asked for some photos of the scout event.  I was having a little melt down at the time...and was seeking a lasse..but I did take a few.  I am not sure what they were trying to do..but it was during school time. I saw a bunch of boy scouts walking down the street with red sticks... and you can see in the forgound that they have lashed them together.  Then each group was given a collection of sticks ..four to go up as a flag pole and the rest to be lashed together as a base with the flag pole tied to it at the four corners.  I could see they were doing a rabbit comes out of the hole etc.. but the results appeared to be pretty conventional lashing as you can see in the close up of the pole.The leaders were laying down on blankets in the shade...I think also looking for a lasse....so full speed ahead .....or up you petard
