Was yesterday only one day...I think I
will break it up into a few sections for I am tired just thinking
about the day. I was determined to make it until 10:30PM.... so
when I woke up at 3:30 I could say...go back to sleep. I did and
then I did again at 5:30. Hopefully my little body clock is
adjusted.
I am a happy person with my computer
since I can load the pics from the day into it, edit them and make
some sense of the selections. I have Picasso on here...so I don't
touch my NEF files.
[This is a picture of the pool on the roof....a very large step up]
After my excursion to downtown I spend
some time in the room organizing and seeing what else I left...I
think it was Freudian since I left my hub with all of Corn Hill...oh
well. Oh well...one thing being Asia does for me is puts things into
perspective...I sketched out what I would like to do with my
resources and from a distance it looks much different.
I stopped and had a vegetarian pizza
and a beer (OK a big and little beer) and then off to a facial, foot
massage and then Ethos of a felafel. I did not have the energy to
walk kho San..Rambutti was enough and I did find some vegan street
food... the profile of folks on the street has changed....more
Chinese and less Aussie. The seat mates on the first plan were
Aussie and they take a three week US vac since the money goes so much
farther. Hard to think US is their Thailand.
A street vender who was up on politics
chatted with me and wondered when the people are going to rise up and
over through the government. Then I read about the conspiracy theory
behind the Conn children massacre and I am out looking for a Canadian
flag for my gear and practicing my aaaaa.
[Afternoon beer shots on Rambutti.... love the guy just reading as the world walks by]
At Ethos, it is so small that if you
are eating alone you usually end up at someone's table...so I had a
nice English couple that was then replaced by a German Couple. I
have sent them to the penis park today... and I did tell them that
the wife of the only male that traveled with me a few years ago kept
telling us that he had big feet. The Gr woman said, oh I thought it
was the nose. (her mate had a nice nose). They both work at Porsche
and he drives a “company car” They were very attractive and very
nice...have lived together for 2.5 years and this is their first long
holiday alone...having done several trips with friends. She wasn't
up for the spicy papaya salad but had the kambuka which will surely
settle her stomach. One of the best things I did for bonny is to get
the elastic laces...makes shoe removal very easy... today I might
have a swim the water looked great... Next blog will talk of my
body work..... and I will do a spoiler and say I am still working...
