Yesterday was another grey day.i could easily see the Grey Goose since she is now more road dust color. First thing I did as I hit the city limits, wash the Goose and my clothes. The wash house was an experience. You buy a card for a dollar and then add money to wash (6.50) and dry (6 min.for .25) Days Inn is in Grisham but it was less expensive than a room in Portland. I had several email intrusions from home and need to give some thought to that. I have looked at some ways to get home sooner than later. We shall see.
Yesterday I went back up the mountain and spoke to more people about the role of the lumber companies. I am listening to a tape on mindless eating so I very mindfully ate a piece of Mark's many berry pie right out of the oven. mmmm. Strawberry, black berry, raspberry and black raspberry. Eating on the road is not easy and added to that is many hours of sitting and driving . We had an other campfire last night and both families had been to Thailand.

So this morning my bed partner and I had a discussion. Since we have been intimate since Vancouver, I have given the name Stan aka Pakistan Rug is the full name. Either I have gained weight or Stan is taking up more room. I put him on the bench and said, after Portland, you are sleeping on the clothes. You can ride on the bed but sleep or the clothes.
Off to see the Japanese Garden.
