It would appear that there is always a trade off. Since I left a week ago yesterday, it has been me and the Grey Goose. We drove together and slept together. I am in downtown Vancouver so it was necessary that we sleep apart. I took as much as I could get into a mesh box that I use for my clothes, my tablet, ipod, , phone and camera. I left my camp stuff, food, maps etc. I have a car alarm and the car is parked where the security camera can watch but the separation is hard and while I can live with out much in the car, I don't want her violated. Let me explain the hotel. The hotel Patricia is about 100 yrs.old and on the fringe of Chinatown and on the fringe of the fringe. Most of the folks were drunks but there were a few speeders, probably meth.
So I will make another trip to say good night. The room comes with breakfast. I will walk over to the Chinese garden and take a day Tour. Again Grey will have the day off. I think I will not do this again. The camp ground only has bears.
