Chaing Mai Gate market food

Last night I just wandered about the night market.  I wander about when I am alone.. and think I got some interesting shots.
The General feel of the market is busy
The traffic moves because people just take turn.  Scooters, bikes, cars, tuks, people.. just move
The area is call the ChaingMai Gate.  I expected the people sitting to be frang.. but they were Thai.
and there is food... lots of food

For whatever reason, they cook three eggs on a stick.  I am going to find out what they do..Looks like there is a little egg around the end of the egg when it connects to the stick

These are various kinds of sausage.   There is a Chiang Mai sausage which is made in a long string of sausages.  These are like corn dogs with the bun

Roasted corn on the cob is a favorite of the Thai...but the market is there to sell and cater to the Farang.

The market is more than just a place to hang out on Sat night.. you also go there to buy your groceries for the day/week.  The pic at the right is mushrooms

I

n case you can't read this is fried pork liver... not on my list of culinary desires.   the next one is ginger port liver... mmmmm equally of interest

Seafood but mostly clams not sure of the seasoning... probably a chili of some type.
There are lots of things pre-cooked on a stick.  What you do is pick out what you want and the vendor fast fries them to warm them up... this would be one persons munching....a Japanese woman.
This is exactly what it looks like.. a hamburger or cheese burger - 30 or 35 bhat.. about a $1.  The light of young farang men was long.

Eleventh Day

Wow, it is easy to slip into a similar pattern to what I had at home. I produced a plan to change many things - delete more emails, eat hea...
