I took mucho pictures in the mtns but went for a hike an did the campfire gathering which was children gac....so no edited pictures. As I was wondering down the road, I saw there was a rustic camp ground in the National Park. Glacier. I found a lot near the creek paid my 21.50 for the night. There were some nice trails and even a few short ones. Fun to see the Dad's carrying the kids that tried to walk. Also many solo hikers had 4leggeds that carried a backpack of their own.
The location will speak for itself.
Interesting that there was a bear alert regarding a mom and 2 cubs which had closed a trail. When two Swiss lads came down they were very surprised. The ranger said she had cornered a solo hiker who waited for others to come and when they all made noise she made a faults charge but the left.
The games were fun..a scavenger hunt. Can you find what is out of place (like a glove in a bush or yarn under the step. Who am I. ...which was not easy with Swiss, Spanish, Italian, families. So it was done with Interpreter. The squirrel was never guests. The park had flush toilets but not potable water . I had an egg and peanut butter and to wash it down...whiskey and water....and all is good.
Breakfast in Revelstone is over on to Vancouver but mt next entry will be mtn shots. This is a picture i put on Facebook. They use wind generators to charge their electronic devices as they ride.
