same same and sorta different

There are always moments in our life that we say, what am I doing here...when you are standing like cattle at an airport waiting to see if the luggage that you gave to a sleepy agent at 4;30 in the morning really had it correct. And then the sigh of joy when you see you bag coming around the bend and it appears in one piece. Poor bag is missing zipper pulls and the wheel housing is cracked and the backpack flap in the back can not be zipped since only one very manged zipper pull remains so that it is sealled shutt with black tape. I left my house at 4:40 in the morning and arrive at the inn at 1:30 the next day. At best I feel like the worn but still useful duffel and at worst, the broken and useless zipper pull. There are times when you say...is that a sign.

I have checked in on line since the days of dial up. This time, I could not get my seat on line because I got my ticket from a 3rd party vender. I could not get a boarding pass because I was a special needs flyer....what is that...needing special assistance...do they know something more or is that a sign...you have a veggie meal.....ok

We arrive at the airport and I go to enter the secure area, handing my passport and boarding ticket and then I am asked, do you have another form of identification.... you have my passport...but it is not signed. I never sign my credit cards, but I did have one old one with my signature...so they took that and I signed it and then away we went...Monika.sailed on....I then had the body scan with my hands in the air only to be told to get on the mark and the woman would grope me...I am very ticklish..so I levitated as she put her fingers under and into my arm pits....I was now awake and molested as my travel buddy patiently waits for me to get through this process.

Korea might have some national issues, but I can tell you it is not reflected in the airlines. The stewardess cleaned the bathrooms all the time. There was so much leg room, I thought I was in the morning class. There were many movies and I watched several. The isle seat was comfortable and convenient..and there was an empty seat in the middle... On my second flight, a father, sitting next to his 2 young son's wanted to switch seats..sure...but when I found it was the dreaded middle...no way...so I got to sit next to two young men greeting me with “pleasure to meet you”...I slept..they ate..and played arcade games for hours..the entire trip there little thumbs were going..I could hardly get to level 3 of tetris...but I also kept my food in tow.. at the end of the trip, our feet had coke cans, ice cream packets, napkins, spoons etc..and when the boys got up they crunched. I got up ann out several times and the boys..just clicked away..

We were too late for the city bus.;...but shock of all shock..the train is working to the airport... we took a rip off cab for 800 baht..but we got here....is this a sign. I pride my self in only getting ripped..but not ripped off. Of course, Mr Chew...yes the same night man and bell man were on board..but not on board with the 'IMPORTANT..ROOM MUST BE ON SIDE AS THE PALACE” ...but after some discussion , we are in 1A...next to the lottery market and on the 1st floor... The internet cafe has given way to wifi..which is on very low or not at all....so I am writing this at 7am and hope to find a place to send it latter in the day... and this is the start of another beautiful day in paradise...

Eleventh Day

Wow, it is easy to slip into a similar pattern to what I had at home. I produced a plan to change many things - delete more emails, eat hea...
