Planning for Trip Three

I had thought that I would wait until next year to return, but when Joe and Cheryl Arena, good neighbors, said they wanted to go.. that was all it took to get me thinking of the adventure. We put the thought out there, and two other wonderful folks, JoAnn Wahl and Page Simpson, saidy they were interested so this will make a five person venture to Thailand and Cambodia and the first time I have traveled with anyone I knew from home. Page, who is also retired, was interested in a further adventure, so we will go on and to an open bus tour of Vietnam. Having spent time on the picket line protesting our venture in Nam.. this will be a most interesting trip. I think the trip will push the envelope for JoAnn.. and I am sure Joe and I will take many pictures of her looking like.. mmm but she is a trouper. Cheryl will challenge Beth's record for spending and I am sure come home with great things. In contrast, page says, don't let me buy anything except a present for my girls. For me, I know I will make one visit to Angel to buy my cat shooter upper an Elephant. I am also learned that it is not just a snap to make arrangements, but I am very lucky, we will all be willing to bunk in however it works out... I will not mind paying my insurance premium this month, since I know one of their employees took a great deal of work time to help get the transportation organized. I will travel to Chicago and Tokyo by myself and then meet the group going through DC in Tokyo. Still morning the loss of Thai air and the non-stop flight. There is a five hour difference in this flight but the cost is about the same. Of course there will be pictures and I will make sure I say a little something about each of the travelers in the blog so they don't have to Internet too often. So 188 days to go.. and I am ready!

Eleventh Day

Wow, it is easy to slip into a similar pattern to what I had at home. I produced a plan to change many things - delete more emails, eat hea...
